I have over 7 years experience working in educational settings, specialising in English Language and Literature GCSE and 1-1 provisions for learners with additional educational needs. 

Following on from my degree in English Literature, I gained SEN and TA qualifications and found my calling working on an individual level with my students. 

In my experience working with students aged 11-18 of all abilities, I have found my holistic approach has really helped to develop a confidence and understanding of the subject.

The study of English language and literature teaches much more than just how to pass exams. It teaches us to communicate clearly and persuasively, form our own opinions and connect with others on a deeper level. It equips you not just to navigate the world, but to truly engage with it, shape it and succeed. 

I thrive on building genuine connections with my students, understanding their interests and crafting lessons that not only build crucial, life-long English skills, but also ignite a lasting love for the subject.
